Mercaz: A Live School Platform, Migrated Off Lovable Cloud
Mercaz is a live operational platform for a youth-education organization — handling enrollment, attendance, billing, messaging and sensitive records for real families. It had outgrown Lovable Cloud and needed to move onto infrastructure the organization owned and controlled.
I migrated the entire backend to a private Supabase using a parallel-copy approach — the live system stayed fully operational throughout, and every workflow was verified before cutover. Nothing was lost, and there was no downtime for users.
Completed successfully — full ownership handed over, zero data loss, sensitive records fully protected throughout.
Included auth (passkeys + OAuth), storage, and integrations — Resend, Twilio, Google Calendar, Calendly — all re-pointed and verified on the new backend.
